Kinetic Coment - Forgotten???

Image
Looks like Comet from Kinetic is out of trace from the minds of Indian bikers. Just in case you need a reminder here it is. The Comet 250 made by Hyosung Motors , brings breakthrough technology and performance with its 250cc, v-twin , 8 valve, oil-cooled engine that gives 27 bhp power, 21 Nm torque and a top speed crossing 140 kph. The Comet 250, India's only speedster with advance technology like upside down front suspension, 5 step adjustable rear monoshock and much more takes the motorcycles scene in India to a new level! The first real sportsbike in India, the Comet is priced at Rs. 1.67lacs (ex showroom, everywhere except in Hyderabad where it is Rs. 1.63 lacs); and is available only as a “limited edition” bike in select cities only. Yamaha to launch 150cc and 180cc bikes

Image
Japanese Motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha plans to launch a 150cc bike by mid 2008. The new bikes would be four valved and would possibly be a variation to the yamaha R1. The price of this vehicle is expected to be from 80,000 to 90,000 rupees. And is expected to be a tough competition to Bajajs Pulsar and Hero Hondas CBZ Extreme and Karizma. Yamaha has already planned the launch and release of YZF-R1 (1000cc) and MT-01 (1600cc) this year. Fingers crossed It keeps up its name like the RX-100.
